Yesterday I finished the bare first draft of my upcoming romantic fantasy!

I can’t say too much about it yet (official blurb forthcoming) but it’s set in a pre-technological world made up of tribes in different habitats. The main character is a woman who has to roam from the desert to find answers about a past she doesn’t remember.

My immediate next step is to clean up the draft, flesh it out a little bit more and fill in details I skimmed over while drafting. Currently I’m doing research about cultures I’m basing the world on and working on character sheets.

But I’m also starting to think about future steps. Blurbs, title (“Oyezigha” is a working title), beta reads, and sensitivity reads are all upcoming soon! I’m hoping for an August release, but once I get revisions going I’ll have a better idea of a more exact date.
